Frequently Asked Questions
1. Why haven't I gotten my check yet?
Payroll is processed weekly and pay is distributed on Thursday of each week. If your direct deposit or pay card method has not yet been activated the checks are put into the mail on Thursday, delivery will be based on your mail carrier, but typically Saturday or Monday.
2. I am not getting a check stub in the mail and need my pay history right away.
Once your direct deposit or pay card takes into effect you will no longer receive a check stub in the mail. You can access all your paystubs at https://apt.greenemployee.com. Please note there is no "www", you also need to type this into the url address space not google.
3. How do I get a blank timecard?
Employees now have access to timecards online. You can visit www.aptcompanies.com/currentemployees. Print out the timecard that corresponds to your territory.
4. I have a problem with my pay rate, I was not paid what I was promised for my assignment?
All pay is generated at the corporate office from your territory VP. If there is an issue with your pay rate please contact your area VP for assistance.
5. I didn't get paid and I worked last week.
Your timesheet may not have been received, which is why you haven’t gotten paid. Please contact your area VP to check the status of pay for previous weeks.
6. I need to change my address.
The only way we will accept address changes are by completing a new W-4. The W-4 is available on the website www.aptcompanies.com/currentemployees. This document needs to be faxed to the corporate office at 1-888-203-1806 for the change to take effect.
7. I don't understand how your pay week works and what days are included in each check.
Our payroll week starts on Saturday and ends on Friday as shown on the timecard. If you worked during that time period your pay check will be sent the following Thursday.
8. How long does it take for my direct deposit or pay card to become effective?
Direct deposit takes two to three weeks from your start date to become effective. Pay cards are sent via fed ex to your house, you must activate the card once received and the next pay day your payroll will be put on the card. You will receive a paper check in the mail until one of these options has taken effect. You are required to choose either the direct deposit or pay card method of payment to be employed by APT Companies.
9. I can't log-in to apt.greenemployee.com and am getting an error message.
If you are getting an error message from the website or need to re-set your password please contact the corporate office at 858-279-2787 or the toll free number 1-855-832-6278. We will be happy to re-set your password or help you with any website issues.
10. I need my employment dates, or letter stating my employment.
All employment verifications from outside agencies have to come through fax 1-888-203-1806 with your signature authorization. If you personally need to verify your employment dates please call the corporate office at
858-279-2787 or toll free 1-855-832-6278.
11. Did you get my timesheet?
If you would like a verbal confirmation that your timecard was received by the payroll department please contact us at 858-278-2787 or toll free 1-855-832-6278. We will be happy to let you know if it was received.
This staffing company has developed these safety rules patterned after the Federal OSHA requirements. Read and become familiar with these rules, and other safety rules that apply to your job.
1. Report an injury to your employer/supervisor immediately
2. Report any observed unsafe condition to your employer/supervisor
3. Horseplay is prohibited at all times
4. The drinking of alcoholic beverages is not permitted on the job. Any employee Discovered under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to work
5. If you do not have current First Aid Training, do not move or treat an injured person unless there is an immediate peril, such as profuse bleeding or stoppage of breathing
6. Appropriate clothing and footwear must be worn on the job at all times
7. Where there exists the hazard of falling object, an approved hard hat must be worn.
8. You should not perform any task unless you are trained to do so and are aware of the hazards associated with that task
9. You may be assigned certain personal protective safety equipment. This equipment should be available for use on the job, be maintained in good condition, and worn when required
10. Learn safe work practices. When in doubt about performing a task safety, contact your supervisor for instruction and training
11. The riding of a hoist hook, or on other equipment not designed for such purposes, is prohibited at all times
12. Never remove or bypass safety devices
13. Do not approach operating machinery from the blindside; let the operator see you
14. Learn where fire extinguishers and first aid kits are located
15. Maintaining a general condition of good housekeeping in all work areas at all times
16. Obey all traffic regulations when operating vehicles on public highways
17. When operating or riding in company vehicles or using your personal vehicle for business purposes, the vehicles seatbelt shall be worn
18. Be alert to hazards that could affect you and your co-employees
19. Obey safety signs and tags
20. Always perform your assigned task in a safe and proper manner; do not take shortcuts. The taking of shortcuts and the ignoring of established safety rules is a leading cause of employee injury
